First of all, I had a wonderful time in Kopaonik (4 days, from Wednesday till Saturday included), except for some wind Thursday it was perfect, a lot of powder and nothing to complain.
People are really nice, both on the tracks and the ones from the hotel, restaurants, and since it was not my first time in Kopaonik I could see some positive changes, new tracks, new ski-lifts etc. A lot more can be done, of course, but bear in mind that a ski pass for 6 days is almost half the price of the resorts in Austria, that everybody seems to appreciate so much. Even cheaper than Bansko, and I''ve been there and it''s not so much of a breathtaking ski experience.
I can read here people are complaining about the traffic, parking etc... Last year I got stocked in Livigno due to heavy snowfalls, they had to close the road to Austria for 2 days, so it can happen even to the most prepared resorts. This is nature, sometimes you just can''t fight it. Just be happy that unlike last year, this season there is plenty of snow and most probably it will be possible to ski in decent conditions till the end of March.
