I''ve been for the 3th time in Kop, from Romania. Everything is wonderfull, the landscape, the slopes, our accomodation in Snezna Kuca (Vikend Naselje) was great, as usual, a lot of snow, reasonable prices for ski pass, food and drinks, good serbian rock and folk music in bars and restaurants, very nice people all around. Congratulations for all these, I will come again and again to ski in your great resort.
The only think that was not nice at all, was the parking system in the ski resort. I paid 3000 dinara for 7 days to some dubious "lopatar" right in front of Konaci. The 3rd day, the "lopatar" who took the money was not there, and the others said "mi ne znam nista", which is very clear to understand. I said I will go to report that to Policija, but they answered "boli me k***c", which is obvious what doaes mean... I paid 300 more dinara in another parking place, because I didn''t have the time to argue that day. I noticed that I''d paid about 430 dinara per day, to that "lopatar", and he cheated me, instead of paying, officially, 300/day... My fault...
The nex day, I met the guy again, and I had a parking place without any problem. But I still had paid too much for the parking. It''s so misserable, so cheap, to cheat the tourists that way.
I wonder who tollerates that situation? Because the Serbian state looses money, Skialista Srbija too, The Raska municipality too, but You, the serbian people, loose the most! You loose the trust that tourists gave to You when they choosed Kopaonik, which is the greatest lose You can have. And that for only 2-3000 dinara per tourist, which is not more that a good after ski session for a skier...
I think a ski bus between Wikend Naselje and Kop would solve the problem, so the people don''t need to use their cars to get to the slopes. Or a gondola... I prefer to pay 1000 dinara per day to use a gondolla, or a ski bus, rather than pay 3-400 to "lopatari"... It''s such a shame for this beautifull resort!
